Key Functionality

Individual network elements and links are readily identifiable through symbols that can be displayed on a map to indicate the geographical distribution. The network is represented as a hierarchy of sub-maps that show the network status in real time. Network element specific node managers are used for element configuration. NMS/10 can also be used for SNMP managed data networks based on IP technology. This enables, among other things, common fault management for circuit-switched and packet data networks. NMS/10 offers superior network management cost-saving features. Simple maintenance, straightforward training, ease of use and upgradability ensure both low start-up costs and low long-term operating costs.
